Under the new initiative titles "Language Days at teh UN", United Nations duty stations around the world are encouraged to celebrate six "Language Days" dedicated to the six UN official languages, in addition to International Mother Language Day.  The newly established "Language Days at the UN" will strive to entertain as well as inform, by raising awareness of the history, culture and achievements of each of the six official languages among the UN community
